The Lion's Den
It was the beginning of summer in Nemea where small lion cubs could run around free around the mountain side as their mother was in the city. They chased after each other, pouncing around and practicing their tiny roars. The warm afternoon continued to roll on slowly, so slowly in fact the cubs nearly didn't realize how much time had passed in the fun. Nikos, the eldest, was the one to finally take notice of the sun that now hung low in the sky.
